Sometimes in order to find ourselves, we must get away from familiarity. Let us invite you to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and retreat to the serene Georgia Mountains for a weekend of healing art form therapy called Primal Painting. Our creativity retreats are designed to help you tap into the energy of the goodness within you, your feelings, values, and purpose in life. The weekend creative experiences can inspire you to recharge your sense of well-being, let go of negative energy and leave with a desire to choose positive environments in everyday life. You’ll also find that you are open to more creative thoughts, actions and self-confidence.
Primal Painting Retreat - September 18, 19, 20 or October 23, 24, 25 You’ll spend a weekend in our Primal Painting "healing art form workshop" using painting as a way to let go of everyday challenges, tapping into your creative mind and re-charging your energy and your life! After your painting sessions you can lounge on the large balconies overlooking the mountains, relax in the pool or enjoy the peaceful gardens. On cooler days you can gather at the mountain fireplace or an outside bonfire. You’ll indulge in organic fruits and vegetables and special gourmet recipes prepared by our own personal chef. You will paint randomly with a brush and paint on paper and follow your spontaneous voice of playfulness and intuition. The program is not about being an artist or knowing how to paint - it’s about painting expressively to music, and using color and movement as tools for re-discovering the power of your creative spirit. Personal facilitators also guide and support everyone in the painting process as you paint. This class also serves as a form of art relaxation and can promote the release of physical stress that comes from everyday worry, anxiety, toxic relationships or negative environments. On Saturday evening everyone will gather and experience a Native American Drumming Circle bringing back the spirit, culture, and ceremony of the Georgia tribes that made these beautiful mountains their home and nation.
The program includes 2-nights and 3-days of shared accommodations in a luxurious two bedroom condominium, plus all meals, snacks, and program materials provided.
Cost: $675 Includes Accommodations, All Meals/Snacks & Program materials
